HOW IT WORKS
CAPTURE
The panels are formed by photovoltaic cells that capture and convert solar radiation into energy.
CONVERSION
The inverter converts the direct current generated by the panels to alternating current then is injected into the distribution lines.
BIDIRECTIONAL METER
Registers all the energy that's injected into the distribution line as well as the energy received from the distributor, to ensure the compensation of energy credits on the eletricity bill.
SAVINGS
The consumer receives energy credits through CEMIG’s net metering system and saves up to 20% on the electricity bill.
SOCIAL IMPACT
Barefoot College official partner in Brazil
Plexo Solar does not undertake a solar energy project without an associated social project.
For this reason, we have partnered with the Barefoot College to train illiterate and semi-literate women as solar engineers.
Once trained, beyond electrifying their communities, the women are apt to act as teachers and spread their knowledge.
